Tripuraneni Gopichand (8 September 1910 – 2 November 1962) was a Telugu short story writer, novelist, editor, essayist, playwright, film director, and a radical humanist. Gopichand was the son of renowned social reformer and play writer Tripuraneni Ramaswamy. Gopichand, inspired by M.N.Roy's Radical Humanism, became the first state secretary of the Radical Democratic Party (India) Andhra Pradesh.[1] His second novel Asamardhuni Jivayatra (Bungler: A Journey Through Life), was the first psychological novel in Telugu literature.[2] Gopichand was posthumously awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award for Pandita Parameswara Sastri Veelunama in 1963, the first Telugu novel to win this award.[3][4] His novels typically features gloomy, incomplete, unsatisfied and unsatisfying protagonist tortured by a sense of guilt.[5]
All of his writings comprise of mostly how misfits are struggling in that current social scenario. He wrote more than 15 novels in both fiction and non-fiction. His novel, ‘Panditha Parameshwara Sastry Veelunama’ was the first Telugu novel to win Sahitya Academy award in 1963. He also wrote scripts and dialogues for many classic Telugu movies. Partition from registered veelunama; Hi Me and my brother did a partition from my grand mother registered veelunama(1994) but my grandmother SOLD 1 acre to my brother in the year 2000.we did the partition.Now other kids of my grand mother sent us a notice that the veelunama is not valid as she sold 1 Acre for money and they are all eligible to get the property.my father and my brothers father.
- His notable works include classics such as Mana Desam, Mugguru Marathilu, Lakshmamma, Veelunama, Rahasyam, Chenchu Lakshmi, Jeevitham to name a few. 2 He was one of the most sought after actors for the Telugu screen before the introduction of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and N. Rama Rao to Telugu film Industry.

02 March 2011Can someone provide me a copy of the format in which i can prepare a will . What will be the formalities I will have to do after I write the will in the format so that iy becomes a legal document and can be easily enforced after my death.

02 March 2011While the legal procedure of making the will is very simple in India, one needs to cover certain key areas in it so as to prevent ambiguity in the future.
A will can be made on a plain paper—it doesn’t have to be on a judicial/non-judicial stamp paper. It can be either typed or handwritten, but the latter is preferred as its genuineness can be established if the need arises.
The first paragraph always contains a clause that states that the will has been made in one’s full senses and without any kind of pressure. After listing all the assets, an approximate current value of the house, land, or any other property should be clearly mentioned in the will. Assets like bank fixed deposits, postal investments, mutual funds and share certificates should also be covered.
The will should be handed over to a trustworthy person after signing it in the presence of at least two independent witnesses. These witnesses have to sign it after the testator’s (person making the will) signature, certifying that the will has been signed in their presence. The date and place also must be indicated clearly at the bottom of the will, and all the pages must be signed by the testator and all the witnesses.
However, the will can be executed in the presence of the Local District Registrar and sealed in their presence.
A will should contain the following clauses:
1. Clause to specify bequeathing of property in whatever form at the time of death to the executors (the person who will implement the will after the testator’s death).
2. Clause to specify bequeathing of property (both movable and immovable) to the members, with names and the share each would receive.
3. Clause to clarify if the executors are to pay the income generated from such property to any other family member.
4. Clause to clarify circumstances when the executors die before the death of the testator.
5. Clause to ascertain who would hold the property in case bequeathed on minors until they are major.
6. Clause to clarify payment of probate (Probate means to “prove” the validity of the last will and testament. It’s a legal process carried out in courts).
7. Clause for payment of any liabilities incurred in the past or during ceremonies to be conducted upon death.
8. Clause to include free will and sound health of the testator.
9. Clause to specify division of property between the daughters, and implications on the will if they are married. It should also specify circumstances when they remain unmarried.
